Tenderloin in tomato sauce with fried potatoes

If you love the traditional recipe for meat in tomato sauce (ie "kokkinisto"), this version with tenderloin will not disappoint you!

Tenderloin is a piece of lean, tender pork meat, perfect for quick and easy recipes.

It can be cooked whole, or in small pieces that are ideal for a frying pan.

With the help of the new KYKNOS Tomato Sauce with Cinnamon and Clove you can enjoy a delicious meat in tomato sauce dish, that is fast and simple to prepare & will please the grownups as well as the kids.

Ingredients for 2 persons

  • 700gr of tenderloin chopped in pieces
  • Olive oil
  • Flour
  • 1 glass of red wine
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Salt
  • Whole peppercorns
  • One KYKNOS Tomato Sauce with Cinnamon and Clove
  • 400 gr of fresh potatoes sliced for the frying pan
  • Oil for frying

Preparation

Salt the meat and powder lightly with the flour.

Saute the meat on both sides in the olive oil and finish off with the red wine.

Add the KYKNOS Tomato Sauce with Cinnamon and Clove, the bay leaves and the peppercorns.

Bring the food to a boil and let the sauce thicken,

Taste for salt and serve with fried potatoes.
