Grilled sandwich with cheeses, ham and egg salad

Cooking time: 40’ - 45’

For 4 - 6 persons

**Ingredients **

4 slices of country bread
4 tbsp. butter
4 slices of cheddar
4 slices of yellow mozzarella
4 slices of smoked pork leg
4 pickled cucumbers
30 gr. baby rocket

For the egg salad:

6 boiled eggs
140 gr. Mayonnaise Premium KYKNOS
8 cherry tomatoes
½ green pepper
2 spring onions (finely chopped)
Juice of ½ lime
50 gr. Mustard Mild KYKNOS
Freshly ground pepper


On a cutting board with a sharp knife, finely chop the boiled eggs, cherry tomatoes, green pepper, green onions and place them in a bowl.

Add Mayonnaise Premium KYKNOS together with Mustard Mild KYKNOS, lime juice, salt and freshly ground pepper and mix very well.

On a cutting board with a sharp knife cut the pickled gherkins into thin slices.

Place the 2 slices of country bread on a cutting board, evenly divide the cheddar slices, the mozzarella slices and the smoked pork leg slices and cover with the other 2 slices of country bread.

Place a large non-stick pan over high heat to heat well and add the butter.

Place the sandwiches in the pan to absorb the butter, on both sides, to toast and brown, and to melt the cheddar.

When the grilled cheese sandwiches are ready, remove them from the pan, add the pickled cucumber slices, the egg salad and the baby rocket, cut into 2 pieces and serve.
