Club sandwich

For 2 servings

Ingredients

6 slices of toast bread (wheat or other of your choice)
4 slices turkey or chicken (smoked)
4 strips of bacon
4 slices of cheddar or gouda cheese
1 tomato (sliced)
4 lettuce leaves or French salad (coarsely chopped)
4 tbsps. Ketchup KYKNOS

For serving
French fries or chips

Preparation

Bake the toast bread in the toaster or in a non-stick pan. Bake the bacon in a non-stick pan, without adding fat. Spread two slices of bread with Ketchup KYKNOS, arrange the cheese, lettuce, a slice of tomato and the poultry on them. Cover with another slice of bread. Spread again with ketchup. Add a slice of cheddar cheese, 2 strips of bacon, tomato and if you want you may add salad as well. Cover with the remaining slices of bread, spread with a little ketchup if desired. Place toothpicks in the center of each side of the sandwiches and cut diagonally with a knife to form 4 triangles. Serve immediately on two large plates with fries or chips.

Tips

For much more pleasure, put a lot of ketchup in a bowl and enjoy the potatoes by dipping them in the sauce.
For a richer taste and if you have more time, you may roast a chicken or turkey fillet and replace the slices with it.
