Sausage bake with crushed potatoes

Cooking time: 30΄-35΄

For 2 persons


4 country sausages with orange, leek or other herbs
500g baby potatoes
5-6 tbsp. Mild Mustard KYKNOS
Juice of 1 lemon
1-2 cloves of garlic (melted)
A little fresh rosemary
A little parsley (finely chopped)
Coarse sea salt
Freshly ground pepper
Olive oil


Mix Mild Mustard KYKNOS with lemon juice and olive oil in a bowl.

Wash the potatoes very well and put them in a pan lined with non-stick paper. Season them with salt and pepper, season with paprika and rosemary, add the garlic and pour over the mustard mixture.

Bake in a well preheated oven for about 20΄, until the potatoes are soft.

Remove the pan from the oven and press the potatoes to "break", with the lower part of a glass.

Arrange the cut or sliced sausages on top and pour over the rest of the mustard mixture. Put it back in the oven and continue baking for another 10΄-15΄.

We serve the food while it is still hot and if we want we add mustard and chopped parsley.
