Cooking time: 30'

Ingredients
For the meatballs
500 gr. olive ground beef
250 gr. minced pork
50 gr. breadcrumbs
50 gr. grated parmesan
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. paprika sweet
2 eggs
3 tbsp. parsley (finely chopped)
50 ml. olive oil
1 tbsp. Tomatopaste KYKNOS
Salt, Freshly ground pepper

For frying
Flour
Olive oil

For the sauce
50 ml. olive oil
1 tbsp. Tomatopaste KYKNOS
200 ml. Crushed Tomatoes KYKNOS
200 ml. water
2 tbsp. basil (finely chopped)
Salt, Freshly ground pepper
1 cubed chicken (optional)

Preparation

Put all our ingredients in a bowl and mix well until the are homogeneous. Cover with film and leave in the fridge for at least 10 minutes.

Remove the bowl from the refrigerator and form our mixture into small balls. Put the olive oil in a pan and heat it to medium temperature.

Flour our meatballs well and place as many as our pan can hold.

Fry well on all sides and when ready, remove on absorbent paper. We take over until all our mixture is finished.

Heat our olive oil in a shallow pot or pan and add the Tomatopaste KYKNOS. Cook for 2 minutes and then add first the water and then the Crushed Tomatoes KYKNOS, mixing very well. Add salt, pepper and the cube.

Let it cook for about 5 minutes and add the chopped basil. Carefully add the meatballs to the pan with the sauce and let the sauce simmer. As soon as this is done, immediately turn off the heat, cover with a lid and let the meatballs absorb as much sauce as needed.

We will accompany it either with spaghetti or even with french fries, but we can also enjoy it plain with the sauce and plenty of bread.
