For 6 servings
Ingredients
1 kg of ground beef
150 gr. white onion
4 cloves of garlic
100 gr. galette
100 gr. milk
2 eggs
20 gr. parsley
20 gr. cumin
40 gr. olive oil
Bukovo (optional)
Salt
Freshly ground pepper
For the tomato sauce:
500 gr. Crushed Tomatoes KYKNOS
1 tbsp. Tomatopaste KYKNOS
2 cloves of garlic
100 gr. white onion
10 gr. cumin
2 bay leaves
200 gr. chicken stock
30 gr. olive oil
Salt
Freshly ground peppers
Sugar
Flour for frying
Sunflower oil
Preparation:
Grate the onion and garlic on the grater, chop the parsley and add all the ingredients to a bowl and knead our minced meat. Leave for at least 30’ in the fridge for the flavors to mix.
For our sauce, put olive oil in a pot and sweat the onion and put the Tomatopaste KYKNOS to cook a little. Then add the garlic and the broth. Add the Crushed Tomatoes KYKNOS and our spices and simmer for 15’. Beat the sauce with a blender after removing the bay leaves.
Shape our minced meat and pass it through flour. In a pan, put enough sunflower oil to cover half and a little more than the thickness of the soutzoukaki and heat it. Fry (shallow frying) on both sides and remove on absorbent paper.
In a pan, lay out the soutzoukaki and cover them with the sauce. Bake in a preheated oven for about 30’. We make sure that at the end of the preparation there is enough sauce to serve each portion.
