Ground beef Tacos

Ingredients
12 taco shells
300 - 350g ground beef
1 medium dry onion (coarsely chopped)
1-2 cloves of garlic (melted)
1 tbsp. Tomato Paste KYKNOS
200g Chopped Tomatoes KYKNOS
50 ml red wine
1 small chili pepper (finely chopped)
2 tbsp. Ketchup KYKNOS
A little grated cheese (cheddar, gouda, etc.)
½ tsp. sweet or hot paprika
Salt, freshly ground pepper
Olive oil

For serving
2 spring onions (finely chopped)
Parsley or coriander (finely chopped)
Strained or bagged yogurt
Ketchup KYKNOS

Preparation

Heat some oil in a non-stick pan and fry the onion with the ground beef. Stir until the meat changes color. Add garlic. Stir for a few minutes and deglaze with wine.

Then, add Tomato Paste KYKNOS, Chopped Tomatoes KYKNOS, pepper and season. Simmer for 6-7 minutes, add grated cheese and remove from the heat. Finally, pour Ketchup KYKNOS and mix.

Fill each taco shell with ground beef, add yogurt, sprinkle with onions, coriander or parsley and plenty of ketchup. Serve immediately.

Tips
• You may replace taco shells with small tortillas. For the tortillas to get the desired shape, you may place them folded in a muffin tin. Bake them for a few minutes in the oven and let them cool down.
• You may add various vegetables such as carrots, peas, etc. to the minced meat.
