Ham Cheese Pie with tomato sauce

Ingredients
2 sheets of puff pastry
250 gr. sliced ham
300 gr. grated cheese that melt
1 tbsp. olive oil
2 tbsp. Tomatopaste KYKNOS
150 ml. water
1 tsp. dry oregano
1 tsp. sugar
Salt, freshly ground pepper
Sweet paprika
2 egg yolks
2 tbsp. water
2 tsp. white sesame

Preparation
Heat a pan on medium heat and add 1 tbsp. olive oil. Add the Tomatopaste KYKNOS and sauté. Add the water and let it boil for 3-4 minutes. Add sugar, salt, pepper, paprika and mix. Remove from the heat, pour into a bowl to cool, and add the dry oregano.

Preheat the oven to 200ο C. Spread the cold sheet of puff pastry on a tray or sheet lined with non-stick paper. Spread half the amount of our sauce and layer half the amount of the cheese mixture.

Layer the slices of ham and then add the rest of the grated cheese. Spread the rest of the sauce evenly and close with the second sheet of puff pastry. We close by lifting the edges and pressing the two leaves with our fingers. Lightly score the pieces we want to cut.

In a bowl, beat the yolks with the water and spread with a brush. Pour the sesame seeds evenly.

Bake on the middle rack for 35-40 minutes until well browned.
