Spicy penne with tomato sauce and basil

For 4 servings

Ingredients
500 gr. penne lisce or rigate
500g Milled Tomatoes KYKNOS
1 onion (grated)
2 cloves garlic (melted)
1 bunch fresh basil (leaves only)
2 chili peppers (finely chopped together with their seeds)
Olive oil
Salt, freshly ground pepper

Preparation
Heat a little olive oil in a deep-frying pan or wok and sauté the onion and garlic. Add the Milled Tomatoes KYKNOS, peppers and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for a few minutes.
Meanwhile, boil the pasta in plenty of salted water and just before boiling, add them with a slotted spoon to the sauce with a little of the boiled water. Simmer for a few minutes and add the basil leaves whole or chopped.

Tip
If you want you may serve the pasta with grated kefalograviera cheese, mizithra cheese or parmesan.
